“Mary Ann was selected as the new executive director to lead the organization in this next phase of the chapter’s journey here in Metro Detroit,” shared Lawrence J. Burns President & CEO of The Children’s Foundation. “Her leadership capability, passion for golf and desire to give back to the community will serve the organization well going forward.”

Lievois’ second stage career goal was to work in the non-profit sector helping children. She has been motivated by multiple previous volunteer experiences mentoring young people in Detroit schools , which has provided her  a solid knowledge base for this new role.

“Helping young girls and boys find their voice and improve self- confidence while playing golf makes sense to me because I was a shy kid,” stated Lievois “I look forward to guiding our kids to set personal goals for advancing through the five levels of programming, while making new friends and embracing positive values and behaviors inherent to success in all aspects of their lives.”
